Dhanurasana
Dhanurasana. Bow-Pose. Yogini. Greek goddess, classical artistic yoga on wet marble
Lying on the belly, the hands reach back to clasp the ankles and the body lifts into a deep joyful arc. Kick the feet into the hands to raise the chest higher, keeping the neck long. Breathe into the stretch and rock gently if the body allows.
Muscles: erector spinae, gluteus maximus, hamstrings, quadriceps, deltoids.
Bow Pose invigorates the entire front body and awakens a sense of buoyant, open energy.
