Garudasana
Garudasana. Eagle-Pose. Yogini. Greek goddess, classical artistic yoga on wet marble
Standing on one leg, the other wraps around it while the arms intertwine in front of the heart, palms touching if possible. Sink the hips slightly and fix the gaze on a steady point. Keep the standing foot rooted and the spine tall.
Muscles: gluteus medius, vastus lateralis, deltoids, rhomboids.
Eagle Pose strengthens the standing leg, opens the shoulders, and draws the scattered mind into one elegant point of focus.
