Gomukhasana. Cow-Face-Pose. Yogini. Greek goddess, classical artistic yoga on wet marble

MP4

Seated with the knees stacked and the feet beside the hips, one arm reaches up and the other reaches down until the hands meet behind the back. Sit tall and draw the elbows toward the midline. A strap may bridge the hands if they do not yet touch.

Muscles: infraspinatus, teres minor, triceps, external rotators of the hip.
This pose simultaneously opens the shoulders, chest, and hips, creating a profound sense of inner spaciousness.
